It's closer to the old NFS games like Hot Pursuit and NFS II SE than any of the other modern NFS games, The Run suffers from little more than terrible characters and plot, the combination of which are not enough to ruin an otherwise excellent game. This game is absolutely fun and I have no idea why IGN gave it such a crappy score. A must have for any racing fan, be it arcade or sim fan. Multiplayer is splendid and is even more enjoyable with friends as winning gives you much bragging rights. The autolog helps you compete with your friends and makes the game so much more competitive.
